Happy Valentine's day everyone!! I hope you spend a day surrounded by love, either by your boyfriend/girlfriend, or by your friends and family ^^ Since Valentine's day is in the cold February I always thought this day is the perfect excuse to cuddle with your loved one and watch some gooey romantic films/series while drinking some delicious hot cocoa!

Penpals & St. Valentine's chocolate

One of my hobbies since a teenager was having Penpals. I always loved trading snail mail with friends I was able to make around the world! It was such joy and fun. Even today I maintain some friends from those times, and they are really precious to me. 

This week I received a super package from my girl friend from Japan. I always loved Japan and I really want to visit some day, so having a Japanese friend is something I really treasure. We've become really close all this time.

She is so sweet and unbelievable generous, and this time around she showered me with Studio Ghibli goodies and St. Valentine's chocolate. In Japan it is a habit to offer not only your boyfriend/girlfriend chocolate, but as well, to your friends. It is called "Friend choco", so she sent me a Hello Kitty box. The chocolate was strawberry flavored and oh so good! 

I'm going to answer her right now and send her to some tasty chocolate. <3

Outfit of the day ♡

Do you enjoy planing ahead your outfits? I always love to do that! I'll pick up my desired pieces for the day and puzzle them together to achieve my outfit. With the sun popping up these days I feel even more inspired to play with various layers of clothing. This is my outfit for today, I love pastel colours as you see ♡

I know I've mentioned this before, but there have been such nice announcements of concerts and festivals here in Portugal that I can't help but think about it. I love music so much and I love all that boho style around the festival scene, it's such a young and fresh style and it really makes me happy.

Hello! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty calm and chilled since the weather wasn't good for making any plans. However it's always the small things that count so, here are some small stuff that made me happy these days:

Movie inspiration: Empire Records

The 90's were the decade of Grunge, poetic romances, music and vinyl obsession, loud parties and secret meetings between giggles and coca cola. In Empire Records the 90's revive, Liv Tyler, who plays Corey Mason appears as the style icon. If you like this time check out the little inspiration board Corey helped me complete. And don't forget to check the movie out :)

Starcrossed Lovers

Começo este blog com uma pequena sugestão. Vou falar do que é para muitos a mais bonita história de amor de todos os tempos. Romeo & Julieta. Não quero que pensem que isto foi random e só porque me apeteceu (e mesmo que fosse era boa razão na mesma certo? :)), mas sim porque o que pretendo mesmo é aconselhar um espectáculo que vi este fim-de-semana passado.

Apesar de gostar desta versão do filme de 1997, realizado por Baz Luhrnmann, e também da versão de 1968 de Franco Zeffirelli, tenho de admitir que nada como assistir representado em teatro.

Apenas recentemente, agora que terminei o meu curso, me tenho dedicado mais à leitura de certos clássicos que antes não tinha tido a oportunidade de pegar, como é o caso de Romeo e Julieta de W. Shakespeare. Esse interesse abriu-me um pouco a vontade para ter um contacto com a história como antes não tinha tido, e esse bichinho por sua vez, fez-me ir ao teatro, como já à algum tempo não ia...

A peça que pretendo aconselhar, a quem tiver a oportunidade de se deslocar até Sintra (agora nos dias de verão em que o fresquinho da serra sabe tão bem), é a peça realizada pela companhia de Teatro byfurcação.

Esta companhia vai estar com "Romeo e Julieta" em cena até 28 de Outubro, de quinta-feira a domingo, na Quinta da Regaleira  às 22 horas. Imaginem esta história com o pano de fundo da natureza romântica e dos pequenos palácios e castelos que se erguem na Quinta, o escuro da noite e as estrelas a brilharem sobre vós... Sim é mágico, e vale mesmo a pena. Por isso tentem desfrutar desta peça o quanto antes. Os bilhetes podem ser adquiridos directamente na Quinta da Regaleira, ou nos sitios habituais (Ticketline, Fnac, Worten, etc).
